Spotlight On Legislation Our current "Spotlight on Legislation" brings attention to a bill that will require Gas and Oil Companies to disclose the chemicals that are used in hydraulic fracturing process as these companies inject them into the ground. The bill will also REMOVE them from their current exemtion from the Clean Water Act, and would make them responsible to disclose what they are doing, what they are using to do it and it will make them more accountable for the long term effects of polluting your water supply. We strongly encourage you to contact your representatives in which ever state you live, and DEMAND that they move this bill forward IMMEDIATELY! |
